About your hosts

Sandra and Paul Beckett bought La Jassine in 1989 after falling in love with the beautiful Luberon area. Sandra is a university professor of Modern Languages and a specialist on the French author Henri Bosco, a former resident of Lourmarin. It was through her research on Bosco that they discovered the Luberon. Sandra is also an internationally renowned authority on children’s literature. Paul has enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing and is currently teaching economics and international business. They have owned property in Muskoka for a number of years, but in 2005-2006 they built their dream home, The Hermitage, on Skeleton Lake.
